That it’s a bit of a problem at this point that you can’t change stats on non-ascended gear? Especially now that we’re getting a somewhat overwhelming number of options, I really think there should be a way to. It could be a MF thing, a crafting thing, a vendor thing, or even a gem store thing. I don’t really care, I’d just prefer to not have to collect a dozen sets of armor and trinkets to be able to experiment with different builds.

By non-ascended gear you mean exotic? The gear that cost less than stats swaping an ascended?

No.

They should just move to an unlock system. Once you’ve unlocked runes/sigils, then you can set them on your gear while out of combat. Or in a city. Whatever.

Yes, it will mess with the TP values of those things. But we’ll get over it.

exotic gear can be gotten with zero gold cost by through dungeon tokens and tokens have been increased, I got 100 for one path. So no.

Oh and exotics can be gotten for Karma.

They should have gone with a much simpler socket system, aka build your own stat combos, or only had runes. The trick about stat combos however is that it allows for them to create a treadmill, which I’m sure a new favored zerker combo will eventually make an appearance.

No, I don’t think it is a problem either. Exotic armour is available from karma vendors and karma is something most of us have in abundance. I’d happily store a couple of sets if I wanted to experiment. Beyond that I’d probably just dump the gear and buy more karma stuff if I wanted it back.

No, I don’t think exotic armor needs a stat change option. Generally speaking, it’s really cheap to buy or craft pretty much any exotic weapon or armor piece.

This would make sense to me also.
