I have a idea! I was thinking that Anet should do a dodge roll update! I was in game killing something when I felt like rolling away. As I looked at the animation all I could think that is was soooooooooooo boring. So I started to think of the thief’s roll. Nothing to amazing, but I was cooler the the one everyone else has. So I was thinking why doesn’t Anet do this for all classes!?!?!?! Add a effect or a animation to spice it up. Nothing to amazing but enough to make it unique to each class.
I was playing my Mesmer at the time so I was thinking why not make there roll look like blink or like blurred frenzy and add a butterfly or two just for the lols.
They wouldn’t make the roll any different in anyway just the way it looks.
How does this sound? Would you like to see this happen?
The Necro could turn in to a swarm of bugs or a cloud of smoke just for the dodge and the Ele could turn to mist for it or a bolt of lighting. If they really wanted they could make it a gem store thing. anything just make it happen PAWEZ!!

Umm if anything they would do it by race. Go try the Asura dodges, they are the best looking and imo if they were done by classes the thief would def get the asura version.

I wished they did it by professions rather than race as well. Its the reason why I chose an a sura as my new character cause I love their dodge animation as well as their others. Would be really cool if each class had their own dodge animation. Hell, being one who doesn’t use the gem store, I would buy one.

I don’t really like the doge meme overall, but this was a terrific response.

Also I want to put in that I would love having mesmer-specific rolls, and I probably wouldn’t be upset about ones for other professions.

That said I do like how thieves are unique in that regard.

I have a asura and I love there roll! They could even have multiple ones for each class and maybe even a racial one for a set amount of gems. It would be even better if you could change it up when you feel like it like the finishers. That way they can add more customization your character! I say we write a letter and demand this!

Yeah warrior roll will create lots of little Healing Signet icons spurting from the warrior.

Dodge Rolls should not only become changeable by their looks, but also by their mechanics..

I can’t stand the normal thief’s dodge sound effect – asura dodge is so much better.

As long as it is optional, then yeah this would be a cool idea.

Is your thief by chance asura? They don’t get the thief dodge blur/sound.
