Guild Wars 2

WP in my opinion brings so many valid arguments with GW2 into the spotlight and really shows how to improve the game yet barely any (maybe not any) of his decent suggestions ever make it into the game. Why would Anet neglect watching someone like him, he’s clearly got his head screwed on and I feel like he voices a lot of concerns the majority of the playerbase has.

ANet most definitely follows people like WoodenPotatoes, which is why he’s been able to participate in things like the EotM beta and why he got the exclusive coordinates to share for the Rytlock game when the Atlas came out.

…but that doesn’t mean they always agree with everything that is said or that they can easily address any issues they may agree with.

Anet have perviously talked with WP and other popular GW2 youtubers. His voice is heared though it may take time to put the changes into action if they are gonna do it considering how huge the community is and how different the opinions are.

We gotta always remember that the updates specified for GW2 gameplay are yet to come and will start after the 18th. We may pretty soon see huge changes, prepearing for the next step for GW2 as everything is now ready for it, from a finished LS1 to almost finished new content, but temporary and permenant, what Colin called ‘’Expansion like content’’.

There are a TON of great suggestions on these forums, even ones that WP mentions, and they go unanswered. Why should ANet pay more attention to someone because they made a video? If they did, the forums would probably be up in arms saying that ANet only listens to youtubers and no one in the forums. I agree with a lot of WP’s points though and am subbed to him.

I guess it was a pretty self-explanatory question. It would just be a shame if they didn’t though even though they’ve clearly got experience in making MMO’s it’s just that in many parts in GW2 I feel the storytelling aspect is incredibly weak with predictable dialogue and lackluster storylines.
