I only have a short question, can I do other races’ storyline? For example doing all the charr stuff as an asura?

Not on your own.
You can however do it if you join a friend of said other races and doing their personal story.

You can of course make a new char as well to do those storylines. If you want those achievements you will have to do those stories on your own char, simply doing a friends story wont count for them.

This is why I have a character of each race, then I also got all 3 orders (2 of them twice) and other places where the story changes depending on some choice you make.
