Don't Make Me Run Dungeons for Runes plz
Hey! I don’t like playing the game either! We can be friends.
Runes of the noble are cheap in dungeon tokens. Find a group of friends or guildies that dont mind letting you leach a couple runs. Heck you might actually end up liking running it if you bothered.

Some people don’t like the PvE in this game and only care to play WvW.
To those kind of people, PvE is a chore. I understand them.
Yeah, I kind of got that he was wvw player from wanting these runes in the first place. Its pretty bad for pve. Still, they make people who play pve almost exclusively go running around wvw for map completion and badges just to get a cool looking skin or less time gated ascended trinkets.
Its also why I said leaching, most wvw players who jump into a dungeon tend to have garbage in dungeon builds and such.
Gamble at the mystic forge and throw in alot of rare runes until you get 6 superior runes of the noble.
No dungeons involved.
Bloin – Running around, tagging Keeps, getting whack on Scoobie Snacks.

very true, i got one by chance once by just tossing runes in the forge,
(i bought hundreds of minor runes and made majors then superiors that way).
It’s a reward directly associated with doing the dungeon. If it were in some way absolutely vital to other content, I’d understand but the alternatives are overwhelming.
for there you have been and there you will long to return.
Or buy gear that has the rune on it and salvage with at BL Salvage Kit.

Did they buff rune of the noble? Don’t know why people want to use it.
It’s pretty stupid that these runes are soulbound on aquire… especially since they can pop out of the mystic forge. At least the minor and major ones can be used in forge recipes, but the superior ones are just vendor trash.
The dungeon-specific sigils are tradeable.
I have to run temples to get dragonite. QQ
Rune of the Noble works great on a condition build that focuses on might stacks.
I can keep 12 stacks of might on constantly and in battle have got it to peak at the 25 stacks when fortune smiles my way though it usually in the 16 to 18 stacks range.
This on my thief which pushes condi damage up to over 2900 and puts my attack at 3k. While there no crit damage boost this helps significantly with direct damage .
Withdraw as my heal gives 3 stacks of might thats lasts 16 seconds and the withdraw cooldown is 15 seconds. Throw in sigil of battle each off hand for another 3 stacks of might for 32 seconds.
I got my own set through some runs of that dungeoun and gambling at the forge.
It has got me to speculating how well this would work on a direct damage build even given its boosts to Condi damage. A sort of hybrid where one gets a boost to condi damage and relies on building and keeping might stacks in lieu of bonuses to the Crit damage percent one gets from more popular runes like scholar or divinity.
One would get might stacks from battle sigils, the trait in stealth that adds might along with signet might stacking. I am sure something like this tried prior to the changes to Noble but have any tried it since?

I get dungeon runes more often than I want them from combines in the Mystic forge…
I wonder what your basis for comparison is…”

world bosses ;p
I would actually support the OP on this. I get really annoyed whenever I get a dungeon rune back from the Forge that’s soulbound. Why are Sigils tradable but Runes are not? It doesn’t make any sense.
But CM is super easy and fast >.>
i remember when rune of the noble was bugged and you could summon a whole army of drake hound .. lol
Archeage = Farmville with PK
Nothing in the game should be bound to only one place. Everything should be available to everyone no matter how you like to play. Items can be achieved in a separate but equally hard manner that could make everyone happy. The whole 5 man instance dungeon is so old school and boring as you will note by the fact they are pretty empty. This is a dynamic game and should stay that way. I hate that the creative staff needs to validate instance dungeons by putting thing in them everyone needs just to get people to do them.

I am a PVEer myself but I thought it was strange the way you put that. Personally I like the PVE in this game with the exception of the dungeon focus. They’ve literally had one every single LS patch they’ve come out with and have had to find a way of preserving them in fractals.
So I would say that the TYPE of PVE content in this title isn’t very popular (not for me either) especially since it offers no options for means by which to gather the currencies needed for certain types of progression unlike other titles. There are older titles that have gone to great lengths to help their casual/RP players gather the currencies they need without ever stepping into a dungeon if they don’t wish to. I’m surprised that Anet hasn’t taken hold of this fact and made adjustments accordingly (altho I don’t have any idea what’s coming post CDI mind you, hopefully it will be in the direction this game needs).
I’m sorry.
But, I don’t like running temples and world bosses, but I still need to I get dragonite. I don’t like wvw, but is still need badges of honor.
What you are asking is for something to be given to you just for the simple reason that you want it, and not because you deserve it. Play the game, run CM with friends, get your dungeon runes.
It’s like saying “I don’t want to farm gold or materials for my scholar runes so can you make them for purchase of 10 random junk items?”
….no.

I support this idea. Everything that involves stats, equipment, sigills, runes usw. should be easy to get.
With WvW-Badges you can purchase skins, thats something different. Imagine the only way to get Scholar would be 120 WvW badges per rune. Good idea, eh?^^
How dare they put a specific reward in a specific part of the game!? I am outraged! This is absolutely unacceptable! I mean, for example, what kind of maniac decided you could only get the Master Sword from the Temple of Time in OoT???? I should be able to get the Master Sword without ever stepping foot outside Kokiri Forest!
Well, you are right I want an option to do something I consider fun to get gear versus having to engage in all aspects of the game.
I think you will find most gamers and customers similarly enjoy parts of the GW2 experience in differing weight.
No one is saying free, just available in multiple major areas of the game (pvp, wvw, open PvE, dungeons) just makes for a better game. In fact, I’m delighted if they would let you go get them for me and I could just buy them off TP from you.
And don’t get me started on crafting. I don’t mind that ascended gear is craft only but what is the sense in all this soulbound and account bound items? If I have no interest in crafting, why shouldn’t everyone who likes crafting not be delighted to sell weapons and armor in TP? I can’t think of another major title where you are forced to craft.
What some of you are saying is “do all parts of the game whether you want to or not”. Well, if this game were billed as a 5 major function game (craft, pve, dungeons, pvp and wvw) maybe that makes sense. But the fact is there is a customer base that simply is fragmented in what parts of the game they like that wants to remain at the cutting edge. The choice is lose them overtime with gear creep tied to content they have no interest in or oblige them with another way to stay on par.
This game won’t do well going into a hardcore do everything mode. What about folks with limited time like the mass casual players that really financially support everyone who is hard core? They want to spend limited time doing what they enjoy. Casual friendly is financially sound.
