Guild Wars 2

After a break I was going to start playint guildwars 2 again, but my friends have moved server, and with the last patch it now costs gems to move server, so now I either have to grind alone to get the gold, or buy gems for cash.
Right now I’m seriously considering why not just spend that cash on another game than guildwars 2 to have something new to play instead.

Try the guesting option at the character select screen. You can go on the servers of others for as long as you’d like.

You could be just like the 90% of the rest of the population and leave for good.
The choice is yours pay or not.

But they did announce it 2 + weeks in advance and frankly you can still play the game – albeit not at a great level.

Just guest, bro. The server changes are a good thing, to stop bandwagoning in WvW.

Yeah, the costs for server transfers are long overdue. WvW was just a mess.

They just waited to start charging until they implemented guesting.

(they’ve said that transfers would eventually cost gems, since beta)
