Hi all.
I looked through the forums but did not see the info I am interested in. I know XP will be doubled but are there any exceptions to this? Will the XP you get while crafting be doubled..and what about the XP you get Harvesting and doing Personal Stories?

If the Crafting XP doubles I know what I am going to be doing

I’m assuming it’s double XP from kills.

I’m assuming it’s double XP from kills.

Which would be basically nothing because kills hardly give any exp anyway.

If they dont double the exp from events, hearts, exploration, gathering, crafting, etc its going to be worthless.

Kills add up. They really do.

Let’s so you do an event and get XP from the event. But during the event you kill 20 or 25 creatures. All those creatures add up. They make the event that much stronger. XP boosters make leveling faster and they only work on kills, so I’m not sure why you think it would be worthless.

You will level faster.

Edit: Not to mention if you kill stuff with a high bonus, which I often do while leveling, it’s quite easy to get experience fast.

You haven’t done Ulgoth pre events with XP banner, XP food, XP booster, killstreak booster and celebration booster, have you?

There are a lot of events that give you plenty of kills, on top of the event reward. I don’t know why people dismiss kills as part of leveling fast.

Double exp for crafting so you hit lvl 80 leveling 6 disciplines to 400 + free skill points for leveling the other 2 -or- double crafting xp so you hit lvl 400 with half the cost?

Anyway, DO WANT!

Unfortunately, I think is only for kills, just like the Experience Boosters (which are going to be on sale).

Yeah i bet it is going to be double exp from kills. So now you wont get 10 but 20 exp per kill, pretty much adds up in a longer run.

Don’t argue with idiots, they pull you down their level and own you with experience.

I also do. And bag slots, and copper-fed. But AFAIK it will be -15% on all boosters (anyone actually buys that stuff?).

I would have preferred double WXP, but then I suppose it would be a queue nightmare.

I know people used to buy WXP boosters, at least they did until the candy corn eater thing arrived which basically meant permanent WXP bonus if you stocked up some alts with cheap candy corn (I know I did).

I couldn’t really guess if the other boosters are sold much, maybe 50% Experience for alts? Frankly I find boosters annoying, they last too short and you are therefore are not always guaranteed that you gain optimal results within the limited time frame... And for what they are, they cost too much gems for my taste.

What is, perhaps, encouraging…is the fact that there is a ‘double’ anything weekend. Maybe we will start getting more of them, just like in Guild Wars (One)! =)

That would be disappointing considering that none of the high level events give xp on kills anymore. I’d rather they just turn off DR on events for the weekend to be honest, that way I can play in SW for more than 20 minutes without getting hit with it.

1. Everything at launch gives xp (orr) so it really means leave SW.
2. Unless you’re everywhere on the map at once you’re not getting hit with DR within several hours let alone in 20 minutes.

I, for one, would prefer to see a boost in drop rates on valuable things such as Tomes of Knowledge. But that’s just me.
