First of all , Anet doesnt even care to list the new level gates for each skill slot, mechanics in the update release notes ??!! Thank you Anet for that.

So guys , i have been going through forum but couldnt find a single clear answer. So after this level gating,
At what levels did the Professional Mechanics slot (F1-F4) unlocked before the patch and at what levels do they unlock now ??

Was wondering the same. I noticed my lowbie mesmer lost F2, 3, 4. Rotating those has saved me some deaths, and now all I have is the basic F1.

I’m sure they’ll open up quickly, but it’s a bit disconcerting to log into.

i am with ranger lvl 3 i don even have a basic F1 !!! i cant even change name of my pet !!!

F4 unlocks at 24. That means:

Elementalists don’t get earth attunement until then.
Rangers don’t get pet swapping until then.

It’s a beautiful day in the neighborhood…. NOT.

Profession skills were previously available from the moment of creation as far as I remember.

From what I can find (here and here), they are now locked until:

• Profession skill F1 – Unlocked at level 4 (or 5)
• Profession skill F2 – Unlocked at level 13
• Profession skill F3 – Unlocked at level 22
• Profession skill F4 – Unlocked at level 24

Yeah, Rangers cannot even call their pets back to them so they stop attacking everything until level 22…

Oh, ouch. The two important defensive shatters at 22 and 24? If that’s right, I’m going to be in for a bit of a rough ride.

oh god this is soo bad !! they surely need to make the changes again !!

watt utility skill slot 2 at level 24 ?? downed skill slot 3 at level 19 ??? wtf !!! are they serious !!!
