Guild Wars 2

With the 6/23 patch, I noticed that download speeds have increased dramatically. Before, the best I’d get was a little over 2 MB/Sec. Today was the best I’ve ever seen, with the latest patch coming down at 8-9 MB/Sec. I doubt its Comcast, as I’ve noticed no other dramatic improvements. So, am I the only one seeing such a dramatic increase?

Yes, it is comcast. You are on a shared network type (cable) and that means you share the maximum bandwidth with all the others in your network neighborhood. Maybe you were just downloading it while everyone else was at work or in the network low time. Just enjoy it while it lasts.
