I"m glad they removed the Dragon Festival, it not like we wished completely remove any reference to Cantha in this game. It not like there is a HUGE thread requesting Cantha presence to be somewhere in this game……

The fact that it isn’t the Dragon Festival with oriental themes is a HUGE failure imo.

I just don’t understand why they keep repeating this method for obtaining new skins. Especially so dang soon on the heels of the Southsun Crates! Is this the way it is always going to be???

@circling i think they imply that the skins have a garanteed drop from those rich chests… Which’ll prolly be from gem store. But hey if garanteed it would be worth it.

Simple, people keep buying the lottery items a LOT. For every complain on the forum they see players buying them on the tenths or even hundreds, so from their point of view, there’s an audience that must love these kind of things, and it’s an audience that spends lots of money on the gem store.

Read carefully. There will be 2 types of coffins. And simple coffins will be accessible through Dragon Bash funny things. And token may drop from both of them.

Ha! 6… 40 crates and no ticket for me even mini. I even know someone who opened 150 crates without getting any ticket.

You can just ignore the RNG and enjoy the content, and hey it’s free.

Awesome. Holidays in GW2 are amazing.

Depends on whether or not someone else has used the wish in the last year….

This event is looking awesome and they are clearly trying to cater to both the lovers of lottery (someone has to be buying boxes all the time) and to casual players with both the Rich Dragon Boxes (gem store I assume) and the regular Dragon Boxes (from drops/minigames/event stuff). To be honest this looks like its going to be the good kind of rewards ala Halloween and Wintersday and not the RNG only like Southsun and F&F.

Oh noes, hopefully I have more time then 11-18th June to get my wings as that is the last week of exams!

I am quite certain that the Dragon Ball mini-game is from Cantha.
I am also quite certain that the reason for not celebrating the Celestial Creatures (including a Dragon mind you) is that people hate dragons, as can be seen in the dat-file.

Of course they listen… though from their point of view, who would you listen more, the small percentage of the game community that complains on the forums about how much their hate RNG lottery skins, or the small percentage of the game community that say how much they love RNG lottery skins by spending money and buying them in the tens or hundreds?..

Yea, and so did the crates. Except the rate was very low, meaning it kind of didn’t matter that they dropped.

Of course not.. silly me. People will only be happy if the containers were gained for simply logging in and was guaranteed to give the tickets. How could I forget that?

I love the video. This look really cool, awesome job. It has common traits with the other seasonal events (like Lion’s Arc decoration and mystic forge changing) so hopefully this is a seasonal even too. It look fun!

And I was thinking exactly about a dragon wings back piece. It being holographic it’s even cooler!

Hopefully they add some new armor skins to the gem store, at the very least.

Jade Weapons:
- Rich Dragon Chest guarantee it?
- normal have a rare chance to get them

Minis
- in Dragonchests is the holo dragon
- In the new minigame Moa Racing you can get the helmet Moa

Dragon Wings:
- From the Chest

Shatterer Dragon Wings
- From Dragon Ball Minigame

Hornet Helm (Armor, not Town Clothing)
- Take part in one of the Fireworks that happen every 2 Hours (GW1 Style)

So yeah, a lot of ways to get something.

Divinity’s Reach would be so perfect for this. And I think Halloween should of been in The Grove.

They’re not real dragon wings, they’re holographic ones.

I find it kinda funny how we have an entire race whose whole culture is based on being the most techno-magical advanced ones, and with a city and settlements full of holographic displays, including some solid energy rails, walls and paths you can even walk on, yet using that same solid holographic technology to create weapons (the SAB weapon skins) and armor pieces (the back piece) suddenly looks out of place in the game.

This sounds really fun and I can’t wait. whoopwhoop!
