Hello everyone,
I don’t know if it has been pointed out by anyone yet, but I am almost sure it has been (as it is very easy to see – for anyone but the devs apparently?).
The Crystalline Ore Vendor at the end of DS should be made accessible permanently (maybe after beating the Meta Event once, or after finishing HoT Story or what ever).
What brought me to this conclusion?
I had to get to this dude several times to finish the Spec-Weapon Collections and this very last time before being done with the last weapon:
Mass DC of the whole Map right when Mordremoth pulled of his usual “Hey guys I am well designed and appear for an ‘invuln-DPS-phase’ after being slain”-move.
At least we got that unskippable vid, which is very interesting when watched for the n+1th time (I am so glad that my insertiable crave for unskippable cutscenes is getting served so well by this game) before we were sent back to the login screen after 1-1.5 hrs of wasting our time. As you can tell, I was able to craft a second ‘Vial of Salt’ after this incident…
So please:
-> make the Crystalline Ore Vendor accessible somehow without having to grind for 1-1.5hrs (I overheard some interview with a dropped line like “we don’t want our players to grind…” or something like that if I recall right?)
-> reconsider (basically all) unskippable cutscenes
-> maybe fix the mordremoth issue (zombie-mode)

And don’t get me wrong, the Mordremoth fight is one of the best meta events that GW2 has ever seen imo (Music, setting, general mechanics and their variety). Just those Issues ruin everything and make it boring and annoying instead of entertaining (which it definetely was the first few times)
