It’s been several times now that, when in PVP I put a dragonhunter in downed state it comes back up in like 5 seconds without replenish the downed bar, how can that be? I couldn’t find any player to explain why this happens, but I’m sure of what I’ve seen!
I’ve never experienced it before and I never had this problem with any downed guardian before the elite specializations.
I know there’s an ability like that on the warrior and at first, not being a guardian player, I thought it was something about the elite spec but I waited for the possible effect to expire, killed one of them again and here he is back up when his downed bar is 1/4 full.
Someone knows something about this? Maybe it’s a bug? Maybe cheaters?

My guess is it was during a teamfight and a teammate of yours was finished.
When a player deals damage to a player, then goes downstate, he will rally when the player he dealt damage to was finished before him.

Edit: Guard downstate is one of the weakest and I’m not aware of a bug with rallying there (not like this joke with mesmer illusions or pets)

Checked that, none of my team mates were dying in those cases, that’s why I’m really buffled, I only noticed that with dragonhunters

I’d have to ask at this point: When a DH is downed, do their traps despawn? If they don’t, then what are the odds that the healing from a trap would apply to the DH in the downed state? I’m gonna log in and check for myself now.

Pretty sure it has nothing to do with the DH, the downstate skills are the same as any guardian. Does the DH have an ally nearby, particularly revs? (Rev rez can full heal a downed if traited by the damage their enemies put on the downed I think)

The traps don’t despawn, but I don’t think any are capable of rezzing.

Although, there have been times I’ve gotten up after being down, and a few dif classes, where I’m sure no one has died to rally me. Maybe another class with a rez skill, maybe even necro.

I just checked and yeah, the trap alone won’t get a DH back up. The 6674 heal got me to 80% immediately, but that was it.

It’s also possible that he F2’d right before he died, and the healing applied after he went down? That and the trap would do it.

Revenant’s traited rez inverts all damage received into healing. Mesmers (or any other source of quickness) can speed up rezzing. It could have been a few things.
Also, since you said it raised them without filling the bar, they might have rallied. There is a bug with transferred conditions where they count kills for the ORIGINAL source of the conditions, so anybody killed with the transferred conditions will actually rally their own teammates.
