Ok I got this as a drop today I can only preview or destroy it
My question is why can’t I even sell it for trading?
Is this a bug?

it’s account bound. Maybe your class simply can’t use shortbows.

I get that, what I want to know is why come up with the Idea of having exotics you can and cannot sell. It’s like telling the fan base look if you don’t need it trash it, we couldn’t care less f you don’t make money with it.

You don’t happen to have it in an invisible bag, do you? Looking it up via chat code in-game, it doesn’t appear to be account bound, and it shouldn’t be soulbound unless you’ve equipped it. Ascended drops can’t be sold, but you should be able to sell any exotic drop. Otherwise, it would say soul/account bound, since that’s the mechanic used to keep you from selling.

No one is selling it on the Trading Post, so it sounds like this may very well be a bug. Might want to report it to support.

If you looted it in fractals you cant sell it. Fractals is full of exotic stuff that are account bound.

I’ll drop the subject then it’s obvious the devs won’t budge a finger or a minute of their time when it’s not a major bug or loosing money.
