So how long do people think the dreamthistle skins will be available from a vendor?
And what ones do we think will be available next?

Although I have no idea why I want this. I’m not a key farmer, and I get keys so infrequently and chest drops so few scraps I’d probably never get any full sets…

Very happy about this, I wanted the torch and the sword for my sylvari guard for a long time now.

There’s an NPC in the back of the Black Lion Vaults in LA who says they’re restocking some of the weapons and moving others back into storage after ‘todays’ promotions are done. Behind him is a locked room with more black lion weapon vendors (I think currently it’s the chaos, phoenix and leyline weapons, but I wouldn’t say that means they’re next to be re-released).

The map shows a further 5 rooms beyond that one, but I don’t think it’s possible to even see into those.

In spite of the wording I don’t think this means the Dreamthistle weapons are only available for today. He’s been saying the same thing since the new LA came out and obviously it’s been more than a day between changes in the weapons on offer.

I do think however the new Vault layout and the dialogue strongly implies that they’re planning to cycle the Black Lion weapon skins regularly, and maybe vary how many sets are available by opening up more or less rooms and adding or removing NPCs as needed.

I am not sure if they will even go away after a couple of weeks or they will just raise their price to 5 or 7 tickets.

I hope they don’t cycle the old ones too often. I was enjoying the rarity of seeing my fused and dreamthistle skins on other characters… But it does have its pros as well!

Regarding the vaults, there’s actually an asura gate at the back of the furthest hall – so even if all the unused halls are filled with merchants for the skins, there’ll still be room for more beyond the portal.

Aetherblade will probably drop in price now alone from the possibility of them being rotated in and people kittenting their pants that skins they got may be worth like 10-20x less than what they put them up for.

I was not aware of this and have been trying to buy one for weeks!!! So my offer in trading post finally got me one for 800g even though if I knew they were back I just would of bought the thing with my claim ticket!

Talk about losing 800g when I could of got free! Anet really needs to let people know about this stuff sooner

And the person who bought an expensive item one hour before they “let people know about this stuff sooner?” What about them? Or the person who bought the day before?

Someone is always going to get burned when prices change. There is absolutely no way to avoid that and making an announcement ahead of time only shifts who gets burned to different people.

it actually would not matter.
If you would have been at workat the time of the anouncement it would have been the same result.

heck I completed the gallant skin collection because they were so fricking cheap it cost me 800g to buy them all. If i would have been logged in I would have bought two skins and instantly sold them to the remaining orders making a nice profit.

I think what we all learned today is to cancel high orders on skins on tuesday morning.
