This is by most worst area in game.

Not to mention i hate Dredge they keep popping from ground and walls on every step. But thats not even bad compared to 2 unreachable Vistas guarded by zillion Dredge.

Everyone who tried to reach 100% map knows the vista in middle , in dredge mountain base the one with chain. And you know what? IT DOESNT WORK. After all wasted time and frustation i finally got up there and stood there clicking on vista and it doesnt work! Until i fell off and died trying to activae that kitten thing.

I wasted all this time to get to 98% and now i cant complete the kitten map because of bugged vista.

I just had to rage out somewhere , cause i feel like i will explode right now.

You probably were in combat.
A simple relog would have sufficed.

I like Dredgehaunt Cliffs, the only problem i got is that they should have made an entrance from Lornar’s Pass.

Unless that vista is bugged recently a lot of us have 100% map completion so it must have been OK at one point. I don’t remember any trouble in dredgehaunt.. You complaining because it’s actually difficult in some parts?
A few vistas sometimes don’t give you the (F), just log out and in and it fixes itself

I dont remember having any problems with vistas there. My only problem was when I tried to reach the vista from the wrong side ^^. Quick look at wiki page and done.

I never had any problems getting 100% in that zone. And yes, you cannot view a vista if you are in combat.

None of the vistas are unreachable, and they arent guarded by a zillion dredge, you just need to be careful, pick your fights and try to sneak past where possible.

Yes it was difficult. That’s why it was fun. That’s why it’s an achievement.

I love this map too. Fast event rotations, nice rolling hills to the south, and the mortar field in the Dredge main hold is an absolute “kitten” fight and gets me pumped when me/my group tries to sprint through for the Champion there

To the op , I bet you didn’t destroy the turrent that was on the same platform as the vista. You can even jump over the locked gate to avoid using the mechanism to unlock and that really get rid of any mobs that are chasing you and them it becomes a cake walk. If vistas (or anything else for that matter) become a chore—visit youtube.
But I agree, I don’t care for the mobs/aggro and ridiculously short respawns. It can become quite boring and frustrating. But that is common throughout the entire game and one of it’s shortcomings.

I played a little in Dredgehaunt Cliffs on my way to the Sorrow’s Embrace dungeon. I had read some posts on the forum saying it was a difficult or unenjoyable map so I was expecting the worst. I was working my way to the dungeon entrance when I saw a request for help on a champion. Ended up joining a party that was some distance from my current position. I made a beeline through some unexplored terrtory hoping I didn’t hit a mountain range or something. We killed the champion and I went on to the dungeon. I liked the map in general and especially the battle in the pit near the dungeon.

I have seen the problem with ‘F’ not working on a vista. It also occurs with a champion Krait on a floating platform in one of the areas south of LA, might be Sparkfly Fen but I’m not positive. After running by the champion you cannot activiate the vista. As others have mentioned logging off and back on will fix it. This might be working as intended and the logging trick is just a cheap workaround, or it might be something that the devs would fix it was reported. If it really bugs you, consider posting the problem in the appropriate section of the forums.

Sometimes vistas bug, sometimes you bug and are always in combat. Go to character select log back in, bam, view your vista.

There is a vista in orr that I did yesterday on my ele and the “steps” were not there, like disappeared, I looked on youtube to memorize the jumps, and I was able to get it. It’s a bugged vista if there is no moving map on your screen, so you’ll be unable to click that “view (F)”.

I like this area. It’s one of a few areas in which you really feel that there is a back and forth battle going on.
