For the daily log in bonus I got a black lion chest key. I used it and got a Mini Super Racoon and an Elder Wood tree node for my home instance.

Oh and a strength booster……

I have really dumb luck, but I tend to use more colorful words to describe it when dealing with RNG xD.

Better than anything I get which is usually a repair can or consumable. Last time was a single forge stone. Kind of makes me disappointed when its a black lion day.

Well today I got that stack of 2 brown mini boxes from PvP reward track and opened them both and got 2 Ascended Boxes~ one Weapon and other Armor; Both Apothecary. :x

I’ve never got any significant drop. I have to grind for everything in this game.

When I see examples like this I don’t really believe their rng system works.

Black Lion key? what is that? I think I remember some kind of key.. but the last time I looted it was like a year ago… oh well :-/ rng is rng

Luckiest I’ve been. was throwing in some random stuff in the Mystic Toilet for the daily, and getting Dusk. Took me a few minutes to realise I’d gotten it too. “Wait.. what?! Noooo… Yessss!”

Might I recommend trying a low-salt diet… seriously you can get BiS stats and loads of cool skins with minimal RNG, not sure what your complaint is about.

The first couple of days back to playing the game, I got a Black Lion Claim Ticket, a Carapace Coat Box from VW every single time I ran it (I think I got 5 in one day), went on ONE chest train and got 3 Boot/Glove boxes each, kept getting lots of exotics dropping left and right—nothing good, but my guildies started to get really frustrated at me…

… but one of them stopped when his lack of luck on getting a Coat Box for a couple of weeks resulted in him getting Dusk from the VW boss chest. FML.

Anyways, I have notoriously bad luck so even though all that stuff isn’t really “amazing”, it was kinda nice to come back to the game and be welcomed like that. XD

Horrible luck across the entire game. RNG has never been on my side in GW2.

I won’t call it dumb luck… but yeah, I experience stuff like you did a lot.
My guildies think I am extra lucky… I used to get a lot of dye drops from the BLC… and I mean a lot… used to give them away… now I don’t get the dyes much. However, I do get nodes, in the last 25 BLC I opened, got 5 sellable mini’s, 1 ancient wood node, 2 elder wood node, 2 ominumberry (sp) nodes, 18 ticket scraps, 2 tickets….
But the dye drops are different now, so I will not be as active opening the BLC..

I once got a BL Dye Kit, and got an Abyss Dye out of it. Best luck I’ve had from BL chests thus far. Grtz to OP, the RNGods smiled upon you!

Better “dumb luck” than “smart speculation” (you know, the one where you bought the wind catcher skin for 10g and sold it cleverly for 30g, only to see it go up to 150g).
