I mean before the new LA there were all the merchants of the corresponding dungeon, with tents, tables, and such.

Now the new merchant just stands there all in itself like an idiot and if it were not for the icon i would have never guessed that i should redeem my tokens at them.
A table with some armors and weapons, a banner maybe or bunch of crates would be have been nice, it just looks kind of dull to me.

He’s offering a s**tload of weapons and armor from his pocket? Come on anet. It is not hard to put some tables, armors and boxes there

It’s like they’re trying to drive players away from dungeons or something…

Yeh, noticed that too. I runed around that place more than once and never noticed him since I started playing again. Then, one day I was like “I need to spend my tokens!” and … yeah. I was quite surprised.

It really is strange, considering how much needless, empty space there is in LA.

Completely deliberate though.

There was at least one meeting, where they tried to figure out what to do with dungeons in light of the upcoming expansion. Someone, somewhere at the table said out loud, “Dungeons? Kitten dungeons.”

The dungeon staff was poached by the Black Lion Trading Company, who apparently needed a dedicated vendor for each skin type that you’ll never purchase.

Was there a vendor posted in front of each dungeon? I don’t remember that being a thing.

It’s one guy who has tabs for each dungeon now, instead of one vendor for each dungeon, wearing the armor set. Don’t recall what dungeon set he’s wearing, if one at all.

I swear there used to also be an NPC at each dungeon door with their respective sets as well as the old array of vendors in LA. Like a long time ago, before LFG was a thing.
