Any chance we could have an item that makes a duplicate of an ascended accessory or armor.

Ascended items are unique and can already be passed between characters, can we just save some time and let us duplicate them so I don’t have to pass 12 items through my bank every time i go from my ele to mesmer or even trinkets and rings from ele to guard or war or w/e I’m running the dungeon as? (I guess weapons would have to be the exception since some classes can duel wield, although they cost the same to make as a 2 hand so…)

I know the struggle. But wouldn’t it be a bit weird? I mean, you crafted an epic armor in 30 days, and then you can just duplicate the part without any material needed? It’s even worse for trinkets: they are supposed to be unique relics, so it wouldn’t really make sense to copy them.

When Ascended Jeweler crafting is released, you’ll be able to do this.

I get duplicate rings as drops all the time on characters already holding the item, I have a bank full of crappy duplicate condi rings and accessories I’ve gotten from drops, I don’t see why duplication would be an issue. Hell there;s even an achievement for duplicate legendary which by argument should be more unique than ascended rings.

I guess if jewel crafting lets me rework those crappy rings and accessories or duplicate id be fine without the armor duplication (it would still be nice).

I just wanted to put a Quality of life idea out there.

Go craft some WOPWOP gear and have some fun jack smack . For s full set of armor it take’s a month and a half just for the charged Quartzs . So yes make ascended gear what ever 1 click away . There was yer mom and there was you. To bad your mom left you for the dog in the street that got run over . Have fun playing in the street so you can get attention .

I have a full WupWup sloted with full WvW infusions, i have celest trinkets as well. I dont just have zerker, but thats the dungeon meta so I brought it up. Would you like to try a new argument?
