I know this topic has been discussed before, but I feel as if I need to address it again (maybe because it affects myself).

Making backpacks inherently dyeable isn’t what I’d call a necessary addition, but when I think about glider backpack combos I have to wonder why they make the glider version dyeable, but not the backpack.

I guess I can understand why certain things aren’t dyeable for example the black wing and white wing feather backpacks. It would kind of defeat the purpose of having a black and white version if they were dyeable. I guess the one question would be how difficult would it be for certain backpack/gilder combos to be allowed to be matched with their customized dyes?

This thread may be of interest. There are posts by Tidgepot who is a dev but not marked as one explaining why it would be difficult and not likely to be able to dye back items.

Once apon a time a dev said something about it but it basically was,

Wayyyy too much work involved.

They made it seem like while it was possible the huge amount of time/resources required to make the change would be a rediculous waste. Never going to happen type of thing.
