So aside from what I have been hearing (which I would like to know if anyone can confirm) that China is getting Account wide Dyes!!!! >< I would like to know what the brightest bright is when it comes down to certain colors. e.g —> Algae is SUPER green, I am curious what people found to be the brightest blue/red/yellow/etc. feel free to post you’re opinions on what you think is the most noticeable.

Why would China get account-wide dyes while we have character-per dyes?

Because they also have a coin mall item to unlock unidentified dyes…

Be careful what you wish for.

My posts are facts as I know them, or my own opinion, and do not represent any guild.

In other words, they have to pay gems to identify unidentified dyes. Are you sure you are willing to have to pay real money to get an account bound worhtless brown dye?

Like he said, be very careful what you wish for. I sure as hell don’t want that unidentified dye unlock system. AND they said to compensate for dyes being account wide they lowered the drop rate of dyes generally.

You also have to pay… I believe it’s 28 or 35 gems each and every single time you identify a dye…

I’d rather have them character bound…

Still, I won’t mind if we had a mix. Of things:

- Mint condition dyes: Always account bound by the purchaser right after acquisition either by purchase or gift from another player. When put on sale in the trading post, or given to other players through the mail system, they become “second hand”.
- Second hand dyes (those dropped by enemies, looted from chests, gathered or acquired through the trading post): Progressively account bound:

  • Fine dyes: Account bound after the same dye is unlocked by 18 characters.
  • Masterwork dyes: Account bound after the same dye is unlocked by 6 characters.
  • Rare dyes: Account bound after the same dye s unlocked by 3 characters.
  • Exotic dyes: Always account bound.

Even betterwould be simply making them account bound. Maybe I would start throwing in the mystic forge the ones I already have, instead saving them all to use with characters that do not have them yet.

SUGGEST-A-TRON says:
PAY—ONCE—UNLOCKS—ARE—ALWAYS—BETTER.
No exceptions!

I really don’t see why dyes couldn’t be tradeable as they are now but become account-wide when you double-click to use it.
