Q:

Is there a way to revert armor dyes to their default colors? For fun, I dyed my lowbie armor hot pink, but when I go to remove the dye, it turns everything grey rather than the color the armor started. This carries over to new armors too. Is there a way to get the default colors the armor started with back?

There’s no memory of the colors you chose at startup, as far as I know.
But all the colors you had available at creation are available to you when dyeing your armor in-game. So, with a bit of good memory, you are fully capable of re-coloring your armor the way you colored it at startup.

It shouldn’t be that difficult, there’s no more than a dozen or so slots on starting armor. Just experiment, and you’ll find the combination

The previous colors of your armor would have been based on the colors you picked during character creation, or which ever you last dyed your armor, all of which are available to you in your dye collection. The real question is, can you remember what dyes you were using before? Unfortunately there is no going back to a previous dye combination if you don’t remember what you did.

Specifically, I just got the Flame Legion armor (http://wiki.guildwars2.com/images/thumb/0/08/Human-FlameLegionSet-Heavy.jpg/413px-Human-FlameLegionSet-Heavy.jpg) but it doesn’t look quite right in hot pink… when I remove the dyes, it doesn’t look like the picture, it just turns grey.
