I don’t remember reading about this before, and the search function for the forums doesn’t work, so excuse me if someone already asked this.

Will I be able to buy dyes with Laurels after the update? I know they won’t drop anymore as normal loot, and we’ll be able to buy them on the Gem Store, but will they be still available to buy with Laurels?

If not, then I’ll probably spend a good amount of Laurels on dyes now, I don’t have much use for them.

I don’t think any official word has been handed down, though the forums seem to assume they will still be available with Laurels. Maybe I just missed the official announcement, though.

I think the wording of the post pretty much leads us to believe they will only stop being dropped as loot.

With dyes becoming account unlocks, the demand for dye will decrease and unidentified dyes will no longer drop as loot but will still be available from the Mystic Forge and select in-game rewards.

I guess Laurels fall under that category

I am under the impression they will still be purchasable through laurels.
