We used to need an E-Mail to log in the forum and in game, what happened to them.
Now it feels less safe and I have to go back and do everything manually again.

I still need an email to logon to the forum and to the game. Do you have your game set to automatically remember your logon details? (For the forum, there’s a cookie that keeps track of your authentication; it expires after 24-48 hrs.)

If you mean the email authentication, the game (and forum) remembers a range of IP addresses and will stop sending the email for remembered addresses.

You can go into ‘My Account – Security’ and turn off remember IP addresses, if you want the mail sent again.
