Guess so, taking a break from WvW atm, decided to see what were the 14june updates also..

I’m surprised Anet is at E3, since it seems most of their convention appearances are more player-oriented than industry-oriented. Still, it’s a big event, so I’m not that that surprised.
Anyway, I wouldn’t expect them to show anything new there. Even if they previewed the next expansion or LW3, it would just get lost in the noise of E3.

Excessive negativity aside I think Aeolus is right. Unlike a lot of companies Anet only have 1 game they’re working on (2 in total but GW1 isn’t being developed any more) so they don’t always have things to announce at conventions and they’ve never been in the habit of going along and doing a presentation when they don’t have something big to announce. Usually when they do go they’re sharing a stand with someone like Twitch and it’s more about letting people try a beta of something we already know is coming.
At the moment pretty much everyone knows they’re working on an expansion, so that’s not worth announcing and presumably they’re not ready to show it to us. Anything that comes before then is unlikely to justify a big announcement.

I did not want to sound so negative… but gw2 is kitten after 3-4 years, they are trying the linking system cause population lost due awfull ideas in the past, class balance is so nice they prefer to remove stats from pvp scheme, skills bugs, the only thing Anet as to present atm is pve wich is really just not that special, a raid, maps that are aoe blobbed and ktrain alike.

i don’t expect them to announce an expansion, i just want to know what’s being presented at the convention. they might just have a small booth or something.
