When we’ll be able to salvage WvW gear?

I won’t buy Extractors, first because I don’t want to keep the armor, second because there’s anywhere in-game it says we can’t salvage them.

Salvageable WvW (and karma) gear will happen in the same update with flying capes, guild mounts, new dungeon and expansion.

Too true.

Whenever i get a character to lvl 80 no I just buy (or craft) a set that can be salvaged if and when I want the rune/sigil back. Karma/badge gear is good for experimenting but you need to purchase it with eyes open knowing whatever you put into it cannot be removed easily (cheaply). There should be a disclaimer whenever you purchase said items, but alas you are kittened.

I acquired 2 sets of WvW armor one year ago, both have Hoelbrak runes, not to mention many weapons with Bloodlust, Fire, Battle, Force, etc. At that time I barely knew how crafting work, and had no idea I wouldn’t be able to retrieve them.

If I need an upgrade from Ascended gear I’d buy the Extractor, but not from a kitten exotic which is useless to me now, because it’s soubound.

I’m not asking for a BoH = mats farm. Only the upgrade is enough.
