Price to run servers most like. There was a good news story a few years ago talking about greenland becoming a major server farm the wanders of the web and fiber optics.

The geo locations for IPs are guessed or the ISP controlling them registers them. I can only assume the EU servers are shown as Texas because they’re their own ISP (NC) and their main hub is in Texas with the NA servers. Look up 4.69.154.138 for example, it’s registered properly by only 1 out of the 3 of them and it’s one of the main routers in Germany.

Out of your tests, you didn’t perform one of the most basic ones, which would have revealed Frankfurt. You didn’t trace the IP.

You know what, this has been answered to death, try searching for it.

There’s actually a logical reason, aside from everything being bigger in Texas.
