Quite frankly 10 would be a bit overkill. But somewhere between 2-5 might be better. People already flocked to EOTM to level up, I doubt they’d want everyone flocking there to get proofs as well.

I’m more focused as to whether or not these proofs unlock points in the new maps. Someone claimed they didn’t, so a confirmation on this would be nice. If they didn’t, it’d be rather upsetting.

Don’t the Core Tyria ones apply to Core Tyria Hero Challenges, and the Heart of Thorns ones apply to Heart of Thorns Hero Challenges? Core costing one and giving one, HoT costing ten and giving ten?

Running in circles taking undefended keeps and camps counts as effort now? Good to know.

Want to do the math on that time again when factoring for required masteries, travle time, availability of players at a certain point in time, etc.? Guess what, pve comes out way worse compared to wvw.

If I was a wvw player, I’d keep quit least anet decides to nerf the Hero Point gain via wvw because it’s faster than pve (as soon as people start to do wvw for the hard to get Hero Point challenges and pve gets deserted).

Except you don’t need to get them — they substitute for a random hero point. You won’t end up with more HP because you do both PvE and WvW; you’ll just have a different method of acquisition.

I don’t mean to make this sound mean, but you can easily go to HoT to earn the points, at least a few of them. You can also still earn them in WvW as you do, but I do not feel like you should not be allowed to earn them easier.

Why not? The borderlands are all dead. Put Hero Challenges in side keeps and we’ll get our WvW back.
