Guild Wars 2

Been a long time since I have played and much has changed since then so I am left lost on what and when I can do things. I am use to being able to buy a mining pick right away from odgrim ( in Wayfarer Foothills Norn starting area ) but now I cannot purchase any gathering equipment only bags. So my question is, what level do I have to be in order to start mining and gathering?

Read it carefully, though – there are times where you can do a certain thing before you get information about it. IMO, the NPE really made a mess of the leveling experience.

5 or 6 I think the vendor unlocks or where u get an automatic levelling reward of mining equipment

Go into town and you can buy an mining pick and mine from level 2.

You can mine right away… but they moved all gatherables to higher leveled areas and they don’t give you a set of gather tools until level 9.

However, you have to wait till level 20 until you can mime.
