To Anet, as the title says, can prepurchasers get early access to PoF?

There has been no early access announced for those that pre-purchased PoF. There have already been two events that were open to everyone and a stress test starting in a few hours, again open to everyone.

No, pre-purchasers do not get early access.

We get exactly what’s listed on the purchase page: the Elonian Envoy title, mini Balthazar and Spearmarshal’s Gift (Elonian weapon skin). Plus whatever comes with the version of PoF you choose.

As far as I recall, HoT did not have early access for launch either. There’s no pressing need for it, in my opinion (and I am a prepurchaser). They’re doing today’s stress test to help prepare for the server load and they now have megaserver tech to spin up as many maps as needed, so they don’t have to let people in in waves.

Early access should never be a thing. It delivers monetary gains in the short run, but it causes damage in the long run.
