What’s the best way to earn karma now?

Isn’t events the only real way now? I’m not sure there are others besides the daily and the occasional karma drop. So, do events at the highest level you can.

I have seen on the forums that doing fractals below your fractal level rewards quite a bit of karma. I would not know as my fractal level is 1. Lol.

If you want to farm Karma events are still the best way but its a bit slower then it use to. Also you have for successfully complete the events to earn Karma. You do get Karma potions from doing PvE Dailys ( got one last night worth 600 Karma). Running around last night for 3 hours in level 21+ zones just completing hearts and beating events I got around 50K Karma and got two levels of Magic find breaking down all my armor drops. Not to bad but Im sure Orr is still a better event chain.

Can someone name a server really focused on doing events then?

For farming events on any server, try this site. It shows starting and ongoing events on each map.

As to a server focusing on events. Since it was so easy to get karma. Most people weren’t doing events. Try guesting to different servers. Role playing servers are usually the most crowded. The NA one is Tarnished Coast. Not sure of the Eu one, Piken Square?

My fractal level is 26 and I did a level 16 fractal yesterday and got a little more than 8000 karma.

edit: According to the wiki the formula for fractal karma rewards is:
6400 + 8 * Completed difficulty * (Personal reward level – Completed difficulty) = Karma awarded

If I’m understanding this correctly you should get 6416 karma for doing a lvl 1 fractal while your personal reward level is 2, wich is quite a generous amount.

WvW gives a lot of karma, because just about everything in it is an event. There are often hero banners at waypoints for even more karma gain.

Fractals below your level gives a lot of karma (capping at 10 levels below), so if you are rank 28 then anything 18 or lower will give you max karma.

You can also use the karma infusion for +15% on an ascended amulet, food buffs, boosters and banners.

Don’t forget doing those diversion activities in Lion’s Arch like kegbrawl, sanctum sprint, and crab toss give karma.

I think you get a 600 karma vial for participating and a 1000 for winning, at least in crab toss I’m sure of it. so that’s 2-3 events worth per play. You could do that to mix up the way you get karma.
