Q:

I’m currently at level 12 but I wish there was a way to at least get to level 40(or 80).

If anyone knows, please help me out.
(Also sorry for taking up your time)

The Elder Dragons could’ve been great if they weren’t victims of piss poor writing.

not really a cheat or a guide., but the way people have been leveling fast are the following..

*Crafting-requires lots of gold, you used to get around10 level per craft, its now down to 7, I’ve heard you can get the full 10 levels if you use Crafting boosters in your WvW BL, tho I cant verify that part.

*WvW- you can get lots of Exp in Karma Trains in WvW, especially in Edge of the Mist.

Dungeons- Repeat easy Dungeon path until you can say all the dialogue in that path, you can gain Exp and gold.

Slower method are

Map completion and Personal Story

Just go from zone to zone and 100% each place you will be level 80 in no time. Or for fast leveling there are crafting guides online so you could use $$ —> gems -- > gold — > craft level up.

Most people use Edge of the Mists for quick runs to 80, but you’ll probably have to buy the traits you’re interested in.

Crafting each path does give 10 levels, but that’s cash intensive. I’ve seen guides for 1-400 crafting though.
Basically, it’s 1% of a level per crafting level from 1-100, 2% per level from 100-200, etc. So two crafts from 1-400 gives you 20 levels total.

Many alts; handle it!

That is not correct. You have to craft to 500 to gain 10 levels, and only a few professions offer that at this moment.

If you where crazy enough to spend about 800 gold (yes it really does cost THAT much) to level every single possible professions to 500 for 10 levels then you are insane.

1-400 grants 7 levels, so the best you could get with crafting is level 56, unless you decide to pay that ridiculous amount of gold.

Please don’t rush. Learn how to play the game and your class. Otherwise you might be pain to be around.

Pretty much this. Also there isnt a lot of your traditional “end game” unless you want to rush through everything then come here to complain about there not being enough stuff to do at level 80. Take you time, enjoy the game and have fun.

There are ways to hit 80 in a few days, but they’re not something I’d suggest for a new player. You really shouldn’t rush with your first character, or you’ll end up at 80 with little to no idea of how the game (or your class) works.

If it’s your first character, don’t rush to 80. A lot of players have rushed to 80 expecting that to be needed for most content, only to realize that level 80s do the same stuff they could have been doing, plus they aren’t proficient with their character. As for leveling without rushing, events are very good, so I suggest working on world exploration and doing any event you come across. This gives solid, scaled exp, and puts you in a variety of positions to learn the mechanics.

This isn’t WoW. Most of the things you can do at 80 you can also do at 20. In fact there are multiple 1-15 zones and so on, where a lot of newly released content takes place. When you go to a lower-level area, your toon is downleveled to match it, so being max level doesn’t offer a lot of benefits beyond having some extra skills to use.

There’s no reason to rush, the journey is the game, the destination is irrelevant.

The best part of this game is the journey. You would be doing yourself a disservice to skip it.
