Ebonhawke love
Don’t be a sad quaggan
Ebonhawke is not a city instance, so it’s probably safe for the time being.
Ebonhawke is the most awesome place in Tyria
The degree is arbitrary. The definition’s blurred.
If I’m to choose between one evil and another, I’d rather not choose at all.
yep ! only thing missing in Ebonhawke is an MF
Wouldn’t it have been a nice option to have EB as a potential birth place (with home instance?). You can wander around the town and do most of the reknown hearts, just as long as you don’t anger the chickens.

Say that to Kessex Hills.
(and the other 8 elite specs maxed too)
So you’re afraid it will be LA-ed? Nah, I say Rata Sum gets nuked next.

Yeah I first thought the OP was referring to the Megaserver change, but I now realize he meant LA kind of changes.
It’s funny that the human race actually has two cities.

It’s funny that the human race actually has two cities.
Makes sense when looking at the lore of Tyria.
Humans from Ascalon and Krytans were distinct and separate cultures. Only with the events of the last 250 years did these cultures ‘mash’ together for survival in D.R. ( including exiled Canthans and Elonian peoples).
I think it was a good choice of the writers to develop the city of Ebonhawke allowing for the last remnants of the Ascalon born humans to exist. Ebonhawke is a city of survivors, and it’s reflected quite well in design and feel. It makes sense.

Charr have 2 more capitals for the other 2 legions though right? And there’s another “pale tree” for sylvari out there somewhere…

If we’re going to count cities outside the current map then yes. There are
-2 more Charr citadels (ash and blood legion)
-at least 1 sylvari tree (could be more of them out there)
-2 more human cities (shing jea monastery and Kaineng city, the largest known city in
Tyria)
-1 Tengu city (dominion of winds)
-Possibly an undead city in Elona?

You fool! You just doomed it with the most relentless and infallible curse of all!!
THE JINX!!!
You have tempted fate, and thus guaranteed the destruction of Ebonhawke!
Take your pictures there now! Before it’s too late! Now it’s a matter of time until the place is turned into a smoking pile of rubble, and iconic locations like Gwen’s grave are erased out of existence!
I still wonder where there is this HUGE Gap in the Ebonhawke city walls. I mean Kralkatorik just burned them open, but i can´t see them in game and there wouldn´t have been time to fix that already.
Why not add this to make sure Ebonhawke finally matches the lore?
Ebonhawke will only be affected when the history take us to Kralkratorrik arc. (Read edge of destiny), And when we gain acess to the crystal desert.
Right now, only pale tree can be affected, since the history is going towards mordremoth and the maguuma areas (Sigh, I’ve been waiting for Cristal Desert and kralkratorrik since I knew the game).

Edge of Destiny took place before Guild Wars 2, so we should see traces of the massive amount of damage the city suffered in Edge of Destiny.

However, as mentioned the events of ‘Edge of Destiny’ took place a few years before the game went ‘live’.
It’s possible that any damage done was repaired.
I would have liked to have a few NPC’s mention it in their ambient dialogue though.
