Maybe changing colors, and other stuff. For example my charr guardian looks dark and evil, but shines light blue. What if you can change the color and have some edition able obtions, like thief can have smoke effects instead of black shadows, mesmer can have bats instead of butterflies (image this with nightfury!), u can change the Revs glowing hand colors, etc.

I’d love to be able to change profession effect colors – Guardians, revenants, and mesmers would especially look great with the ability to choose from Bloodstone Red, Radiant Gold, Foefire Blue, and other similar colors.

It sounds nice but would be very difficult to add much more customization options – the more complex the game becomes, the easier it is to break something. So the main concern is whether it adds enough to the game to justify the work that goes into creating the initial system and fixing the unintended side effects.

It could be something to consider for future elite specializations, however. Like a “blood knight” guardian that uses mh axe and glows red, or a “dark assassin” mesmer with daggers and less flashy effects.

I would love to see more ‘slots’ for things like effects. We already sort of have them … gliders, mini’s. Add a slot for an effect, let us craft, buy or earn them. Would be a sweet way to customize your look.

I would probably pay for a feature like this. Another cool one for mesmer would be rats or kittenroaches falling to the ground and running away.

Recoloring skills would be nice! Champions Online did it. :P I want purplish-pink Necro skills to match my Vision of the Mists greatsword.
