I thought I’d ask you folks of the general discussion board; what is in your experience the most effective way to acquire exotic quality gear for crafting materials and sigils? Furthermore, what is the most effective way you’ve found to acquire achievement points for rewards?

Are you asking how to get Exotic gear to salvage for crafting mats and sigils? If so, nothing to do with Badges of Honor or Karma, then. Unless you can throw those in the Mystic Forge, and get back something you can salvage. I’m not sure. Never use the MF for that.

Season One Living Story releases used to be the best way to get APs, in my opinion. Now?
Hmm. Dailies and Monthlies. And all those other non- LS Achievements listed that are permanent. Some are very quick and easy. The rewards aren’t what they used to be, though. A bit disappointing, nowadays. I’ve stopped trying to get them. I mean, I still get them because of Dailies and Monthlies, but….I don’t really go out of my way, anymore.

kitten , that’s a shame. I really need to hit 12k APs but I’ve just scratched the surface…3,250 so far only. I didn’t participate much in the s1 Living Stories sadly. Alas.

Also, yes. Acquiring gear other than karma/badges/dungeon currency. I guess maybe just running the highest level dungeons? But yeah, I need gear to salvage for crafting materials, particularly ectos.

If you are looking for ectos, salvage Rares. You can run the World Boss circuit for those.
