Q:

I was just wondering in the future will there be a chance to get a axe and scythe with cool harvesting effects with unlimited use or have you guys not considered it yet?

I like the pick. Just wondering if there will be more different effects on them in the future along with unlimited effects on other harvesting type tools.

I don’t really care much about the effects, but I love the unlimited idea because often times, I hate running out of picks in a middle of a hard to get places.

Yes more unlimited uses please.

http://sirvincentiii.com ~ In the beginning…there was Tarnished Coast…
Full set of 5 unique skills for both dual-wield weapon sets: P/P and D/D – Make it happen
PvE – DD/CS/AC – If that didn’t work, roll a Reaper or Revenant.

I love the effect and unlimited aspect as i hate running out and having to store a ton of picks, axes, and scythes just so i can wander through the land and harvest every node i see on the way lol. I also had to carry 1 of every kind just so i didnt waste a good one on a copper node.

I find it strange that you were so concerned about wasting an ori pick on a node that didn’t require an ori pick, from a cost standpoint, but then bought the mega-overpriced pickaxe (not visually overpiced, practically overpriced) that allows you to ignore that aspect.

Seems like it would have just been easier to have an ori pick equipped with a spare ori in the bag, and just replace it once you change over to the next set when you are by a vendor. In WvW the vendors are at every spawn, and pretty much any and every town. This would have been much cheaper, if cost was the concern.

On a side note, I competely agree with the ease of use and convenience of the thing, I just don’t know that it matters to me if I have to watch my scythe and axes still… i may as well just watch my ori picks as well, until I can get all three perm at the same time.

I bought the overly-priced pick with real money not in game money which is a difference. Not only the cost but storage space. I actually have an entire bank slot full of harvesting tools. Space is by more viable then money in real life and in-game.

Makes sense then, if you converted dollars to perma-pick, as previously there was no option to go from real world money to in-game harvesting tools (at least not practical ones).
