Or buff the other classes like cranger and ele abit. The mesmer playstyle is so dull and uniniteresting just pressing 2 keys for the entire fight.

Cranger might not have been harder but at least you had a rotation.

If you’re only pressing 2 keys…. I can’t even begin to explain how wrong you’re doing it. Mesmers juggle a lot of skills…. which is why the dress like clowns. On that same note, engineers purposely make things overly complicated, just so its clear when people are pretending to understand something they really don’t. The i in iPhone doesn’t stand for “intelligent”. :P

Weren’t you the one calling for chronomancer nerfs before the last rebalance patch hit?

Your main argument was that mesmer would get a damage build and rebalance changes making it damage viable.

Now mesmer is hitting 30k dps (which isn’t top dps even) and you still complain. Which hardly makes them viable for dps spots since they still have to tank and boonshare/distort.

Maybe take a step away from the game or start focusing on a different class. It’s getting old fast.

This is not a build used with chrono as well this is purely mes as a dps. Im not saying 30k is mich (even tho on a small hotbox after some nerfs to other classes its a completely respectable amount of dmg).

It really has nothing to do with how chrono operates. Just that so much potential for interesting gameplay isnt there.

And iirc the chrono nerfs were mainly to the boon dur nerfs which made the class a boon bot. Not nececerally its dmg being low.

PoF is coming out end of September. Mirage will very likely build on the changes core mesmer has seen. Yet you are here, not even 2 days after a rebalance patch where even top guilds haven’t even figured out new meta builds and you are complaining about mesmer.

You have issues with the class, period.

I really got no issue with the class. Mirage is shaping to be a co di focused spec. And with the changes to torment and confusions a pretty good at that.

There is the chance that u could take mirage for a power build ofc but i dont believe it will fix the issue that we arent allowed to ever shatter (or using any other weapon skill than sword 2 off cd is a dps loss)

Before HoT launched, people complained that mesmer shield looked fun but wouldn’t be all that useful in high-end content. Mesmers were rated last in value for things like raids. Now, people consider them essential.

Wait for the content to actually release and give it a month or three. Then we’ll have something to discuss. Until then, we can only guess about how useful/useless or over-/under-powered the new elites are going to be.
