Elementalist not able to weapon swap?
Yes, Elementalists don’t get weapon swap. They already have 4 attunements. Allowing them twice as many skills as other classes with 2 weapon sets.
yes, engineer and ele always lacked weapon swap.

Made my day, No Elementalists, Engineers, and Revenants can not swap weapons to make up for the plethora of skills they can have at one time.

They give you other weapons so you can try them out. You might try out the dagger/(other weapon) and find you like it better, or that it’s better in certain types of combat.
ANet may give it to you.

You can still change your equipment easily out of combat. Don’t feel bound to one weapon just because you don’t get a ~ button. Learning to play D/D alongside Sc/F and Staff will only help you in the long run.

I leveled my ele up to 80 using only the staff. After awhile I equipped two daggers just to try it out, and I realized I had been playing wrong the entire time! It is so much fun.
Actually weapon swap would be a good thing for all classes. All they need to do is put a longer cooldown on classes like the elementalist, the revenant and the engi.
It would certainly help when roaming to be able to switch to d/d if a thief backstab you from nowhere, or swap to staff if you come face to face with a zerg.
It could be on a 30-45 seconds cooldown.
Elementalists have the equivalent of 4 weapon sets through attunements. Each attunement gives you a completely different set of 5 weapon skills.
Engineers even more so since they have several different device and weapon kits that change their weapon skills. The difference is if an engineer doesn’t want to take a kit of any kind you’re stuck with only 1 weapon set. All kits are useful though and it’s probably a good idea to have at least 1.
I’d say allow out of combat weapon swap for all profs. disabled in combat for eles & engies if they have any kits equipped in utility.
I was gonna say that engies have the most available action bars but an ele running a full line of conjured weapons has what, 8?
