Am I correct in assuming that when the next xpac is out, we will only be able to use one Elite Specialization at a time?

I know we can only use one elite skill based on this game and it’s predecessor’s history, but in my mind this is somewhat of a new situation, and I wanted to be informed.

Is there already an official answer to this someone can point me to?

An official source or and official answer from Anet would be satisfactory versus anyone’s assumption. (even if you believe it would be obvious)

Yes, you will only be able to use one at a time.

They already answered this when HOT came out. You can only load one Espec at a time, and is uniformly restricted to the 3rd trait line slot to make them mutually exclusive.

Especs also mechanically restricts the special weapon associated with it; so changing out of an Espec causes you to lose access to it until loaded back in again.
