Mabye we will have our fabouls LA back sooner then we think :o

They’ve said no story updates until HoT’s release so we won’t be getting it before then.

But that was added with E8’s release.

This dialogue is actually bugged.

Its written like its supposed to be a number of encounters between NPCs, but they just stand there all the time.

Hell the Gnashblade guy blackmails the golem into spying on Kiel for him, but she is standing a meter away, listening lol.

I don’t like Evon either, but at least he understands politics. Ellen can’t even repair few bridges… Magus? Only complaining.
Vote for a female ruler again next time…

I don’t think Kiel is “the” ruler. She got into an open slot on the Captain’s Council, a circle supposedly of equals (though we know that’s not how it works, some will out-influence others). She has a voice, sure, but she’s not the one calling the shots.

If you read Sea of Sorrows you will get a lot of lore on how the Council works.

In game politics is like real world politics. Kiel promised cheaper WP costs, and the masses fell for it. So players got something that benefited a few Silver in savings, but we end up with a shattered Lion’s Arch. Council members bickering over fixing LA does nothing to help those without homes.

Let’s face it, Ellen Kiel hates charr people.

Hero-Tron is not his off spring. And, after saving his life and helping make him a free citizen, Ellen is probably the closest thing to family Hero-Tron has. Unlike the filthy Evon who’s only trying to extort, use, and abuse our poor Hero-Tron.

Hero-Tron is not his off spring. And, after saving his life and helping make him a free citizen, Ellen is probably the closest thing to family Hero-Tron has. Unlike the filthy Evon who’s only trying to extort, use, and abuse our poor Hero-Tron.

Hobo-Tron is not being exploited in any way. The great hero Evon is trying to prevent more pointless loss of lives of the citizens of Lion’s Arch. Heck, without Evon’s upgrades, “Hero-Tron” would be a pile of scrap at the bottom of the bay.

Side note – Since Evon spent time upgrading Hobo-Tron, one could say that he’s his step-father. That’s more “family” than the evil Kiel will ever be.

As there are 2 Evon´s in LA atm, im fine, if you bury one, as long as you keep Kiel busy.
