Hello can someone help me please. I created a compressed file of the .psd file which has now 44,4MB so when i wanted to upload that on their site it says that my file is too big.

Did you follow the sizing requirements?

Image must be 1024×1024 pixels, use the .PSD format, and respect the safe zones template provided in the guidelines document.

If the .psd file is not working for you, try converting it to a .png instead; those are also accepted.

So i tried to compress it with 7zip and now it ends on myname.7z with size 5.17MB so i hope that it doesnt mind if it ends on .7z ….. i hope some admin will answer

Hi, I’d like to send an emblem to take part in the Guild Emblem Contest. The YourNameHere.psd file is really huge (61,4 MB) and when I edit it, it requires 2 MB more. I zip the file and it becomes 47~48 MB. When I upload the file I get a “File size exception”.
I have tried to use the Emblem example.psd that is about 50 MB and when I zip my new file it becomes a bit less than 35 MB, but yet I get the same “File size exception”.
Which is the maximun size I can upload for the contest and how can I reduce more the size of the zip file? I have used the deflate method of compression because I don’t know which method you support. I’m asking info about this problem because the contest rules don’t explain anything about this.

Deleting the extra textures seems to help. I was able to upload the zip file without a hitch.
