So is A-Net planning something special like allowing us to buy a gift from the gemstore to give to someone… or is the marketing strategy too short-sighted?

Expect something coming next week. I doubt that they would let it pass without anything.

I would expect the game to be nearly empty on Valentine’s day.

Anet knows better than people who play gw2 don’t have partners, it would be depressing to celebrate a day where 90 % of the population would be bitter towards! I’m just joking of course, it’s a small day for me even though I do have a partner (or do I?!!) so I don’t mind whether there is an event or not

I was hoping there would be an event; at least special clothing, gem items, etc. Surely they won’t let this holiday pass without giving us gem items.

Came in with the update last week, no sign of it being acquirable ingame yet.

Here’s a video I found on Youtube showing the available animations of the new Bouquet of Roses item from the TP. Still not sure if it’s worth the 400 gems though. Seems a bit pricey, especially considering how terrible the gem prices are these days.
