I dont know if this is a bug or not but.. I can only open the “Enchanted Treasure Chest” in my home instance with the Character that I got the achievement with. So as I understand this because of guest can’t loot that chest? But why not make it account bound so that I dont have to go each time with the same char to my home instance (have designated alt for that).

So can it be fixed or am I missing something? And if so plx explain.

To me this seems like a bug. I can loot the chest with any of my characters, and even guests in my home instance can loot the chest. And I can loot the chest in friends’ home instances. So your situation is definitely not how it should work. I would put in a ticket.

One more thing – do you keep all your keys on that one character? You do need keys to open the chest in your home instance, so you’ll need to have at least one key on any character who tries to open the chest.

That can be the possible issue. I do have all the keys on that specific character, have to test/check this with the next daily.

That never worked for me.
Everyone that tried had a message “no you can’t open that”.
What is going on there ?

I think people are getting confused between the two chests that can be obtained for your home instance. The OP is talking about the enchanted treasure chest, which doesn’t require a key, and can only be opened by players who have completed the collection that unlocks it (although they should be able to open it as a guest in another player’s instance). I think everyone else is talking about the bandit chest, which anyone with a key can open.

Yep. I had totally forgotten about that one. Looking at the notes at the bottom of the entry however, it does seem that the Enchanted Treasure Chest is unlocked per account, not per character. So the OP would still have some sort of issue.(If I’m interpreting this correctly.)

Unlike other Nodes in the Home Instance, this can only be opened by players who have unlocked it. Guests visiting another player’s Home Instance can only open the chest if they have also unlocked the chest on their own account.
