Anet sells 800gems/5g30s for $10. Gold sellers are selling 5g30s for $2.65. I have seen gem conversion go from 1g=355gems to 1g=153gems in 3 weeks, which means the majority people are deciding to buy from gold sellers instead of Anet. Letting Botting/Gold Selling has destroyed any chance for Anet to make any money back from the store since they’ve allowed this to continue for an extended period of time and most likely will let this continue without doing anything major. The only thing they say to do is continue reporting, but that doesn’t shut the “companies” down and is easily avoided by deleting the character and creating a new one to spam on. I don’t know how much it costs to continue running/making new content for a game, but I know they’ll never be able to continue creating new content for GW2 with this plan.

There are people like me who choose to give their money to a known quantity (Anet) and not gold sellers. I’ve also seen a lot fewer bots in the past few days.

i am not sure there are less bots!i am farming ores last 3 days at Frostgorge Sound(70-80area) and there are so many bots!several people also complain in the /map chat about them and report them but nothing seems to be done.

OMG how many bots topics will the mods have to close before ppl realize it’s useless to keep creating them and it helps noone?

Over 4500 Botting accounts were disabled recently. There -are- less bots. They don’t have them all, but they are slowly going down.
