Guild Wars 2

2 Weeks after the games headstart I hit 80 with my Sylvari Ranger. I was very happy.. And I really like this MMO. I played a lot of MMO’s.. This one is the best after 8 years of playing MMO’s. So much to do, such a nice world, great music. I can feel the love of ArenaNet’s team in this one.

But on 80.. The loot system still sucks. I mean: I get whites, bad greens and blue’s me and my party can not even use and just sell for like 80 coppers in a Trading Post or salvage for some crafting materials.

What is the meaning of this? ArenaNet really wants us to grind and grind and grind for some PVE gear that makes us better? The dungeons already are boring and take ages. And come on.. The super boring fight in the last “dungeon” only gives us a kitten item after we ruined 2 hours in there? (I hear some people say that the dungeons are hard. They must suck at the game and leave to WoW) I don’t even wanna come back and shoot those cannonballs while tapping 2 for ages without getting a nice reward.

After I’ve explored a whole zone/area/city I get crap loot. I can’t make money in this game (normal cos of the beginning economy) because I don’t get any loot. I like to explore.. I want to see the whole 100% of the map and do dungeons, but the rewards are just……

I don’t want to grind for PVE gear.. It’s ok that the option is there, but atleast give us some decent loot/copper/silver/gold rewards. I heard a dozen stories about people doing dungeons and dying 100 times and ending without any cash to repair or get to a waypoint after they ruined 3 hours of their hard working life on their only free night of the week. SIGH.

Who is with me on this crappy loot system where we don’t feel rewarded? They said in their marketing campaign we would be awesomely rewarded. “Every player get’s rewarded!” I only get grey trophies or a dye I already have.

You want to be EPIC in two weeks. Come on be reasonable.
