I personally think medium armor for engineer does not look the best but it is decent, I picked an asuna as an engineer I personaly enjoy tool switching makes the game more fun with cool animations. I also have a charr warior class, from what I’ve seen for skills on warrior they are pretty dull and simple unlike engineers which makes the game less interesting but they got cool looking gears compared to medium armour and asuras are less noticeable in my opinion what characther would you guys pick? An asuna engineer or a charr Warior?

Oh and I usualy pick either warriors or mages other mmos

I went Asura Engi, I went with Aetherblade chest (and honestly most of what you see is the chest with the trenchcoats.

LOVE engineer play, kind of hate the Warrior play.

Lately my play has been Engineer> Thief>>Ele>>>>War/Guard. Engineer is just so fun.

Engineer for me is over complicated and I dont have the love for the class to make the excess key smashing worth it for me.

When you get into wvw, and serious pvp the challenge comes from knowing techniques and how to counter other classes rather than playing your own. After 3 days with my engineer the rotations are just as repetitive and boring for me as my warrior is during the boring aspects of the game (daily dungeons, occasional teq, basically all pve).

Well this is just mostly preference, but i would say go for engineer simply because if you master an engineer, it would make you a way better player than if you just “master” warriors.

I can’t recommend asura engineer tho since they are midgets and are annoying.
