I main an engi and have mixed feelings. Hobosacks should have atleast been an option – give us new backpack skins with the old hobosack looks.
Loving the perma stability but miss my shorter cooldowns for the elixir gun. They removed bomb’s healing but gave us a 2 sec cooldown in critting creating a mine and a medkit. I tell you with PVT gear (only 4% crit chance) and the trait that gives +10% crit chance when within I think 300 range and with FT I am creating a LOT of those med kids and mines lol. So im not sure what’s better the old bomb heals or the crit medkit/mines.
I will love the new mortar in wvw, I often used it there when defending towers/keeps but would switch out to crates when running with the herd or a small group/solo. But the handcannon look I’m not sure on….
So yeah mixed feelings here and will take some time to get used to some of it.

You can always use the engi starter backpack skin which looks pretty much like old toolkit.
oo that mortar kit and a full power build with kinetic battery and siege rounds. I am yet to meet some 1 who was not utterly impressed by that light show when it goes of in a dungeon.
its kinda hard to get kinetic battery to work in dungeons, most bosses die before u can even use dodge skill. but oo when it does happen its like

No more hobosack and that mortar kit… sublime! Only one I’m not sure about is the look of bomb kit, but thats alright.

Grenade kit gives you a sack of Iron Potatoes. Bomb is a cake….of Death!
