Whether I’m exploring deep in the Maguuma Jungle or running to the sunny horizon of Divinity’s Reach, whether I’m talking to a gruff, bury Norn or the most tranquil Sylvari, every Armor Repair NPC says the same darn thing:

“Good as new! Unless you start up bear-wrangling, this should last you a while.”

Repeated speech in such a common NPC all across the world really takes away from the individuality of races, areas, and the immersion of the game as a whole.

I understand Norn talking about bear-wrangling, but an asura? A sylvari? And every single Repair person?

Please implement varying or unique dialogue responses for the Repairs NPCs – just like the rest of the NPCs.

Simple answer: change the text to “Unless you take up World v World, this should last you a while!”.

Then it becomes 100% accurate.

Hmm, I’d say, it will last until Arenanet decide you should suffer.

My favorite is when I repair armor, and the first thing I get attacked by out in the world… is a bear.

I’m not very good at keeping my promises to the repair NPC.
