Eotm and WvW Loot bags problem
I suggest turning on AoE loot, this will pretty much solve your loot bag and chest woes.
Whenever I’m fighting I’m pretty much always hitting F in between skills to do AoE loot.
I highly suggest getting used to that. I never have to worry about missing loot, especially since the loot drops right on top of you even if the person you killed is not. Just mash that F.
It’s a medical condition, they say its terminal….
I agree and would love if the loot were directly transfered to your inventory. How many times you lose tons of bags after your zerg loses a fight against another zerg and you are forced to leave them there as you are dead and unable to get them in any way? Truly, it’s frustrating to death as even if you run back they will be no longer available…

+10000000. Would love to see AoE loot turn into auto-loot where it places the item into your inventory. Maybe I am under estimating the number of people that kill things but want to skip any drops that result from that activity, but I doubt it. If anything this is one reason people will stay and lie dead to try and get a chance to get drops that have spawned around them when they fell. The game already has the coding in place to handle full inventory, have it turn off the auto-loot feature in that situation to prevent any issues created from over inventory. This would be a nice QoL change.

Setting an AoE loot button is slightly better. F has the problem of accidental interact.

As others said, turn on AoE loot, and bind it to something other than F. I have mine bound to one of the side buttons on my mouse. So I just routinely click it during big fights.

I use that but still, wouldn’t that be better that you get loot directly in your pocket if you enable that in your inventory settings?
you were able to bind aoe loot to something other than F?
I mean, I know you can rebind interact to another key, but the key binding options are clearly ‘[ ] AOE loot on interact’, so aoe loot can’t be anything other than the same key you use to talk to npcs.

B) Drop loot in your inventory, not on the ground.
Why is this not a thing in all facets of the game?
If someone tells you they don’t want loot, they’re lying through their teeth.

“Oil down.” “Mortar down.” “Stupid arrow cart.”
It’s honestly a pretty archaic thing to have.
Oh, and btw don’t map stuff to F. Sometimes you’ll accidentally try to res an NPC or something and that sucks. Maybe middle mouse button?
If only there were a way to bind loot to your “1” skill.
for there you have been and there you will long to return.
Aoe Loot is more like a temporary hotfix than a solution. Anet cant honestly expect us to run around pressing the loot button every other second during a fight. It’s a wonder no one sued them yet because of all the unnecessary clicking and button pressing we have to do in this game. It worked against Nintendo in the Mario Party case…
