Im aware of the fact that I’m not the first one suggesting this but honestly I’m surprised that it still didnt happen.
We all know how annoying it is to play a charr and use an armor that just makes you wish you didnt have a tail…so why not have an option to remove it? Why not have an option in the character selection screen to make your charr have no tail?
If they added such an option I would roll a charr in a heart beat.

Your epic solution can’t work:
No active Charr would be able to maintain balance without a tail.
No proud Charr would tuck his/her tail underneath clothes.
Any Char that somehow lose the tail will, without any doubt, replace it with a mechanical weapon of some sort.

Better solution: kill all the humans, sylvari, and norn… that way there are no human models. Then, all armor can be designed for Charr and Asura…. as it should be.

I concur. We should get an option to remove the tails. Also the ears constantly clip. We should get an option to remove them too. The strange posture and paws causing issues – we should adjust them to be more human like. Eh to heck with it – we’ll just make them human with mostly cat faces (might make those human too, just to make sure helms don’t clip). There – redesigned charr to get rid of all the armor issues!

If the ‘human male meta’ showed as much skin as the ‘human female meta,’ then I might be motivated to make at least 1 human alt that wasn’t a key farmer.

Sadly there are so many female norns/humans I don’t see this happening until the end of times lol

That’s why nobody likes those little rats, i doupt those asura rats can life peacefully with pround cat like charr!
