Anybody know when it’s gonna be released?I know it’s supposed to be released today but how many hours more until release?

Usually you can expect a release at 17:00-18:00 CET. (GMT+1)

Generally, in around 3-5 hours from now.

Sometimes they’re ready to go and release early, like around this time, whereas sometimes they’re simply not ready and go well past the daily reset.

It will go live 1 hour 14 minutes after zeep zops.

Anytime after 9am Seattle time up to 5pm Seattle time. So any minute now we should have the download.

Considering traditional patch time starts at 1000 PST (GMT-8), server time, you’jumping the gun a bit.

@aerial: If you were online between launch of Episode 3 und launch of Episode 4 you get Episode 3 for free. If you don’t own HoT you “bank” it and unlock it as soon as you upgrade to HoT.

At least it sounds like they do have power again, they just have to recover from the interruption and/or get the last minute work done that was frozen out thanks to the outtage.

I do wish we could get an estimate on how long the delay was, like, just an hour? Five hours? But I understand they never like to give a time frame as any deviation causes flames.

Yeah, because you can preparate everything and just have to press a single button to launch the patch. Not.

A power outage can cause many complications and it’s definitely not Anet’s fault.

Considering this is your best cover up, can we atleast get patch notes..?

Sorry, I don’t think there are any plans to release the update notes until the update is live. But honestly, kitten -l-o-w-l-y as the forums are loading, they may not bear the additional strain brought about by offering a preview!

As we’ve said, there was an outage yesterday and we’ll have the release of Episode 4 and all the other update goodness out to you as soon as we can.

Give them time. They are redoing the patch at the last minute to have DR wiped out by a massive blizzard cause by Jormag instead of the white mantle. They just need to apply the snow covered offices to map.

Can’t fix entitlement, sadly.

Generally new chapters are added at 12pm PST. That is IF the chapter is ready. If there is an issue the chapter will be later. So it’s just a play the game and hold your horses until it is ready.

no they happen sooner. I’m normally patching around 1 pm EST which is about 10am PST or 9 PST depending on time change crap. It jsut that they are always patch more during the day so it seems to go on for like 5 hours.
